The creation of organized sound combines the knowledge of the musical language with the application of the instrument. The language (the theory) of music must coincide with the composition (the performance).

In order to develop a comprehensive understanding of music it is important to establish daily practice habits. It is my goal that the student be able to use his/her knowledge to translate and communicate the language of music through keyboard literature for him/herself.

A solid foundation of keyboard skills will facilitate a basic musical understanding that is recognized and applied by the student.
